- the actual hotel rooms are poorly soundproofed, one night the couple above us was very loud during their mating rituals

Excellent place. We went there for a short break in the evening.. the saunas are excellent. Keep note of timings pf Loyly.. it was a superb experience and we loved Loyly experience the most..

We stayed here for 4 nights. It is an awesome and calm place close to the city. Beautiful area with nice saunas, whirlpool, showers etc. It is extraordinary clean and the staff is always kind, friendly and competent. There is a restaurant too wich is okay but not very special. The standard rooms and the toilets in it are too small from my point of view.
Excellent sauna with very nice and helpful staff. Great facilities. Very pleasant rooms to stay in for a weekend visit. Wonderful, relaxing experience all round. Have been many times and will continue to visit here!
Came here by accident and fell in love with this little hotel/spa. There are not so many different saunas as elsewhere but the one with löyly and the finnish one are the only ones we use anyhow. The steambath is also fine, especially with a little cold. The pools arent the newest but always clean and there are never too many people. Other than on German saunas you will not be shushed here and everybody from guests to staff is super friendly. The food is also very good and at a reasonable price (not cheap). The rooms in the hotel are also totally okay, although the smallest ones, are pretty small, but they all have a balcony. Its only 10 minutes to the city center by car, you could also rent a bike, if you wanted to.
We definitely recommend Huize Hölterhof for a relaxing weekend or even just a day trip.

Top 4 star Wellness Hotel at Enschede with very good service👌 9 different sauna's, a jacuzzi and swimming pool and delicious food at the restaurant. The new infusion sauna is absolutely amazing 👍♨️💯
